Tips for reading

You are all encouraged to read books, as it is a good method to improve your English. Sometimes we don´t know how to face this task and we feel demotivated as we don´t exactly what to do with the book. Watch this video and listen to the tips given .

Present Continuous

We are learning Present Continuous this week and though it´s quite easy, I have found  an educational video on the Present Continuous, which shows how to form the present continuous and when to use it. The video also contains some exercises for practice.

P.P. Continuous is a complex tense to use as sometimes we don´t know how or when it´s convenient to do it. Remember that we use it when we want to emphasize the process rather than the  result.

Extreme Adjectives

Extreme adjectives or non-gradable adjectives are words that mean “extremely + adjective” – for example, “freezing” means “extremely cold.” The weather can’t be “a little bit freezing” or “very freezing” – because the word “freezing” itself automatically means “extremely cold.”
